low blood pressure

My blood pressure is constantly dropping at different times during the day. I can tell, because i get dizzy and feel funny,as if I've laid on my back for too long. (Laying on your back during pregnancy compresses a blood vessel that causes your blood pressure to drop) This happens so often, it has me worried. What can i do to raise my blood pressure? It makes me so tired when i have these "episodes". I lay on my left side when it happens, to get my blood circulating better, and I've even tried elevating my legs above my heart. I also drink plenty of water, and I've even increased my intake recently. What can i do? And is it bad for baby?
