I have extreme lower back pain when I lay down & try to lift up its like I can't move even when I go to stand up soon as I put any pressure down I get this horrible pain in my lower back and I can't walk. The pain is like a 20 if 10 was the highest. Is this normal

Could be sciatic nerve pain, if it is there's nothing you can do to make it better but it is normal

How far along are you? Just wondering.
I am 16 weeks, will be 17 weeks this Saturday. I have been experiencing the same thing but from what I hear, its normal. The pain, if it is the sciatic nerve, can shoot down your leg too. There will be a lot of things common and new things as well happening to your body over the course of pregnancy that you may or may not worry about. I know that I have stressed enough about pains that I didn't think were normal, but they are with pregnancy. Relax and enjoy your pregnancy, as my obgyn doctor told me at my last appointment! By the way, congratulations!
