just got my first ultrasound!
I'm 11 weeks 5 days. I saw my little one today and it was amazing. The pictures were perfect. The only thing that could have been better was my boyfriend was not as excited as I am. Is that normal?
My husband is the same way, I'm 12w4d and just the other day he had to work so I brought our roommate and when he came home all he did was talk about his day at work and didn't even ask how my appt went. I know deep down he is excited he just has trouble showing it. I wish he were more like our roommate who's constantly talking to the baby and rubbing my belly.
I would ask him or give him time. Through my first pregnancy my husband was very quiet and didn't seem excited at all. I asked him about it half way through and turns out he was still in shock Lol. He was fine with our second pregnancy. And now with our third, 11 years after our last he seems to be in shock again. Just talk to him. But be prepared for what he might say, and support him.
