lupus and pregnant

Has anyone else had this problem? my mom has lupus but it only flares up when she is pregnant she said that this rash on my face and neck could this... and next Dr appointment is on the 20th I get to have lab work done and my mom is going go ask to test for it to but until then what can I do?

Thank you... my last ultrasound the baby was fine... it seemed to be bigger but I guess I was only 11w5d well that's what it measured at

I have lupus and im pregnant been dealing with it since i was 20 im 24 now all my aunts have it my mom and it runs on my father side its painful and alot to deal with im 24 but i feel like im 60 but im thankful im breathing nd alive it killed my ggrandma! All i can say is get the test done dnt assume nowadays they have good meds for it that u can live a long life! Good luck honey

On the 20th my mom is gonna ask for my Dr to test for it

It does sound a lot like lupus!

And my joints are always hurting too... my mom said it could be that to and it would explain a lot but this rash has gotten worse in the 7weeks that I've known I was pregnant and not for me not to scratch my eye lids I have to do my eye makeup

My mom was born with lupus but it didn't show up until 36 years old, she has all 3 stages. #1 it makes you have bad rashes that makes it feel like its burning and stinging and just painful. #2 it attacks the joints and muccles and can make really bad swelling and cause pain, they make you hurt every where and it could make you lose muccle mass, thats whats its doing to my mom and the #3 it attacks the internal organs and trys to shut them down. My mom has all 3 stages.
Although its a good thing to get tested for lupus because it is inherited! I have not got tested yet because I saw things that my mom went through and it really scares me.
But the rash that you have could just be pregnancy related, I had it with all 3 of my pregnancies it comes and go like red blotches. I am 24.3 weeks and I still get the on my face and neck and my stomach.

Yes my mom thinks it might be lupus but isn't sure and won't find out til.the 20th if it is or not
