I'm 16 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I'm finding it hard to have a wee? Is this normal?

Cranberry juice helps as well. Keeps you from getting those...well it helps anyway.

Sit back on the toilet not forward. It relieves some of the pressure if baby is on bladder. If I sit forward I find myself back at the toilet a half hour later getting the rest out.

It's best if you visit your doc so they can give you the proper diagnosis and safe medicine. If a uti goes untreated,  it can turn into a kidney infection. That would not be good. I suggest you call your doctor.
