If your baby were to come now, even though not full term, your baby will be alright. Very little chance of complications and a NICU stay. Not saying it can't happen, cus it can, but your babe is almost full term. Good luck.
Is there a medical reason to why you are dialated so early in your pregnancy?
December 10 wouldn't put you as full term either .
Just letting you know, I had Braxton hicks with my daughter from about 33 weeks on and was dilated since 32 weeks and I ended up having to be induced 11 days after my due date without ever going on bedrest or taking any non-labor precautions, so dilation doesn't always mean the baby is coming soon. But yes, I would use the above advice about bed rest if you really want to make sure.
Bed rest. I went into labor early at about five or six months with my last. I went to the hospital and they stopped labor and sent me home on bed rest. When midwife and Dr gave me the ok to get up and have baby I tried everything to get her to come. I finally took castor oil because I had went over and medical induction was not an option because I was not having baby in hospital. Bed rest will do wonders.
Thanks ladies. I've kinda put my self on bed rest. My doc seems not to care if the baby comes early
I've been on bedrest for preterm labour. I was told no lifting, stairs, walking, avoid constipation and don't use laxetives as both can irritate the bowel and uterus, and no sex. Fingers crossed your baby stays put!
I have no idea dont do anything you would do to induce.... when the baby is ready the baby is ready i want my due date so bad jan 1st
