medication and pregnancy
hi i have found out today that i am pregnant at 6weeks i have been taking amitriptyline 25mg for a year now i am unsure wether i should stop taking this or contuine it any help will be great thank you.
I would highly recommend AGAINST stopping it suddenly. You need to call your doctor tomorrow but tonight call a pharmacist and ask if this is a medication you can safely stop taking cold turkey during pregnancy - some medications stopped abruptly can cause seizures or miscarriage so please be careful. You take Elavil, right? i don't remember what the indications are during pregnancy so please call a pharmacist right away
hi i am taking it for being very restless bad headaches and a bit depressed i heard it bad to just stop taking it because of side effects i have stopped i will speack with my dr thank you
I'm not sure what that is or used for, but for any questions regarding medications you should call your dr. And congrats on your pregnancy. :)
