menstrual-like cramps

I'm 39 weeks and 2 days, I've been having a faint crampiness all over in lower abdomen, it kinda feels like the faint cramps is get before I would get periods. does this mean labor is close?! I have braxtons, but nothing real yet,  Thank you,

I can't really time it bc three feeling doesn't really go away, its just a light crampiness, really faint, not a sharp cramp or anything.

That's what my labor felt like. I felt it in my back as well. I would keep an eye on it. If you feel your belly tighten along with them as well. Count them seeing how close apart they are.

I meant 60 seconds...not 6 :)

You could time them and see what is going. Real contractions should last 6 seconds and develop into a pattern 10 mins apart, 7 mins apart...etc. Time them from the beginning of one to the start of another for spacing and contraction length from the start of the 'cramp' to the end of it.
If they aren't that long or having a pattern it could just be your cervix effacing and that can go on for days.
Good luck!
