mer :/

I'm 15 days from my due date, doctor just told me he wants to induce me next week :/
I really don't want to be induce, I wanna see if my body will go into natural labor, which one is better? And do you think the doctor will do this bc that's not an option to me to be induced unless it's completely necessary?

that to me is not a valid reason...I would do some research and then go back and ask what the medical reasoning is for not going past 39 as anywhere from 38-42 is considered normal. just make sure you have your information because my personal experience has taught me that some doctors will feed you bs because they think you don't know better or will try and scare you with misinformation

If there's no good reason Id refuse. The main reason I don't want to be induced is because it has a higher risk that you will get a c section .

If its an induction before 40 weeks for no medical reason I would refuse especially since you said you don't want to.

You as the patient have the right to refuse medical interventions. Like the other ladies said talk to your doctor and figure out why he wants to induce, then do some research or talk to other providers in the same office if possible to see if it's truly necessary for your health or your baby's. If it's not a danger to either of you to wait it out, I'd absolutely refuse. Induction is hard on your body and can lead to other interventions.

If your baby isn't in danger there is no reason to be induced make sure to ask why they want to do this then research yourself to see if this is necessary because I think that is a bit weird if they didn't give you a reason.

Did he give you any reason why? My doctor will induce if my fluid level is low or high blood pressure at 38 weeks.
