could i possibly be pregnant, 5 days late, unprotected sex?

Me and my boyfriend have mainly fooled around this month but always right before ejaculation put on a condom, and eventually we talked about it and decided we really wanted to try for a baby. my last period started on the 31st of dec and ended on the 7th of jan.2009 my cycles are usually 29-31 days long. on the 24th we decided, that even though its probably unlikely to get pregnant we would just let it happen, i was due to get my period on the 31st of january latest! and its the 4th of febuary now and i havent gotten it yet. we have been having unprotected sex since the 24th of january. i've taken around 3 pregnancy tests and all have come out negative.

we had sex from the 8th- 12th of jan. ( possibly close to my ovulation days if i do have a picture perfect menstrual cycle) but were then still 'pulling out'
I dont really have any symptoms besides my period being very late, which has NEVER happened.
in the first couple of days when i was supposed to get my period i would rush to the bathroom thinking its there and all i would have is a lot of discharge, not smelly or anything... just making me feel 'oh my period is coming' wet but turning out to be nothing.
i cant say i have nausea, although i do feel sickly once in a while, i go pee a lot more and i tend to get more headaches.. and i have been very emotional, but these could all be my menstrual symptoms, just lacking my actual period

we really want a baby!

how possible is it that i could be pregnant and its not showing? even with a doctors pregnancy test.
and if i am not pregnant and my period isnt here ...could i have gotten pregnant since the 24th?
my doctor said i should just come back if my period doesnt come in a month, but i am a smoker and if by any chance of luck i am pregnant right now i need to know!

i agree with kim. there is precum. so you can get pregnant, even if he doent "finish" without a condom on. but if you want a baby now thats cool. have you went to the dr and got a blood test. they are the reliable one.  and about the smoking i never have smoked so i dont know about how to quit. but my mom did and we are all healthy. (not saying dont worry about it) see if you can take out a cig. every day one less then two and so on. it could take a while but it might help. good luck on the baby if you are.  GO to the dr get a blood test and keep us posted.

whats the point in him putting a condom on right at the end of sex? you can very much get pregnant before! anytime you have unprotected sex thats what happens. you can get pregnant

its ok that you two are ok with having a baby now that you want one but before when you two were putting on condoms at the end...made it clear you two did not want a baby.

you said doctors pregnancy test at the end....what do you mean? urine test or blood test?

if it was a blood test...and you got a negative. your not pregnant. if it was a urine test it still might very well be too early
