miscarriage of early period?

Im a newly married wife dec last year. I had my LMP on dec.30 nd expecting it to be exactly 28 days cycle (im on a regular cycle) on january 26, 2009. We had been in a honey for month, got signs of pregnancy like spotting of brown discharge, tender and swollen breasts on third week of January. But unfortunately, my period for January arrived earlier for 2 days with cramps (usually happens when I have my period)..was it a miscarriage or just an early period? Thanks!

Hey dear, do not worry, i have been through the similar thing..
Chances of miscarriage is really less.
I have experienced developing these kind of symptoms after my marriage thts before 1 n 1/2 yr. Kind of developing new premenstrual syndrome.
N there are possiblities that you got your menses and yet are pregnant.
So i guess you should wait for a week ore and then try test again to confirm.

It may be impossible to tell now. your best bet at finding out is getting a blood hcg test done, and see if there are still any pregnancy hormones in your system. however even if there aren't, it's still possible you had an early miscarriage and your levels have already returned to zero. maybe a scan would be a good idea too, to make sure there's nothing in your womb.
