miscarriage

I am 8 weeks pregnant and my doctor told me yesterday that i have lost the baby. he said i most likely lost the baby before i even knew i was pregnant. i havent had any cramps or bleeding and now im just a wreck. everyone around me doesnt really seem to care. my husband told me theres no point in crying over spilled milk and my mom says ill just have another. but i feel like ive lost a child. my heart is breaking and i cant stop crying. i just want this to be over.how long does the pain last? how long does it take for the "miscarriage" to start? and how long does it last for?

I am so sorry to hear about your loss and you definatley have the right to feel you have lost a baby no matter a what stage the pregnancy ended.  I had a MC inbetween my two children and it was very emotional -  I found at 6 /7 weeks i had lost the baby cause i had a little spotting, but then nothing and I didn't have anyomre MC symptoms until the day I lost is a 9 weeks - cramps (quite painfu)l and heavy bleeding with clots.  It then took me 8 weeks to get another period and then 6 weeks after that and then I got  pregnant again and had my little boy.  Everyone is different and each doc has a diff opinion on what to do but I would say to try and let your body MC on it's own as it is better for you and TTC again and if this doesn't happen you will need to have a d&C.  Did you doc say what he wanted you to do -wait, bloods etc.  
Hope you get through this quickly and that you allow yourself time to cry.

Hey, sorry to hear that hun, and unfortunatly the pain never goes away. It heals a bit depending on your part... Gotta be strong now no time to bemd down and give up. I wish the very best and trust ive been through worst and im still here... Man dnt feel the same about miscarriage bc they dnt have it inside, different point of view like always... But hang in there, u will be just fine! :-) (((hugs)))
