miscarriage??

hi, i went away on honeymoon for two weeks i was due on the weekend i came home, but after being in the country for 3 days i started bleeding, along with severe stomach cramps, this lasted for ten days, i also had severe pain in my left breast and a milky discharge from both nipples. could this of been a miscarriage? i did a test before i went away but that was negative. i have only been home a week and again have severe stomach cramps like i am going to come on.
any advice gratefully received

I've never experienced a miscarriage, so I don't really know how it is, however, you can always see your OB/GYN and get his/her opinion, I'm sure they could help you out!

Hi Kt, no i didnt do another test as was in cuba and so didnt have a test readily available, i had the bleed for ten days and then had my normal period when i came home.in effect i was bleeding for half of my cycle, my periods are always regular and never heavy, nor do i normally get periodpain.

Did you ever get a positive pregnancy test? It was most likely a period and not a miscarriage, if it was a miscarriage, you might get a faint positive on a HPT, so you can take a pregnancy test just to see if you're even getting a faint positive, but it was most likely a period. As for the discharge, if you were early on it's unlikely you'd be leaking anything, most women, if they do leak, don't leak colostrum until late third trimester.
