miscarriage

Can you tell when you're having one? I've had terrible cramps in my lower stomach. They make me feel like throwing up and using the br at the same time but nothing comes out. Is this a normal thing with early pregnancy I'm only 5wks+5

My first too, I was 5 weeks and started getting cramps really badly, worse than period pains, it made me vomit more than my normal morning sickness, went to the doctor and it was a urinary tract infection,  treatable with antibiotics. Go see your doctor to make sure everythings okay, hope everything goes well :)

yea i understand that, just go in alright, it shouldnt be so severe that you wanna vomit. but you realllly gotta try to stay calm cause stressing will not help, trust me, first time once i started stressing the pain just got worse. good luck though, i hope this isn't happening to you! sending you positive vibes!

mild cramps are normal as your uterus is getting more blood flow and is stretching. but severe cramps is worrisome, you should go to the er and have them check your hormone levels. my first miscarriage i was cramping so bad that i couldn't move from bed really, they had to give me pills to finish miscarrying because i wasn't bleeding on my own. BUT i dont know your pain tolerance. so dont freak out, just go in, try to stay calm, and find out whats going on. it might take some time though if you havent gotten a hcg quantitive yet, because they'll test your blood but you'll have to wait 2 days to do it again to see if your hormones are increasing or decreasing.
