mommies with tattoos!!!

Does anyone notice that during the pregnancy their tattoos popped out more, and you can really feel the outlines in the tattoo's? They also started to itch, and I can't scratch because then it hurts? Anyone else has this? Or knows what's going on?

I have seven tatts but it's the one on my spin and on my chest that pops out n itch! !

Mine does sometimes but its on my belly sooo its stretching I use shea & coco bitter baby oil and its fine

My tatts dont pop out at all or itch i have one on my chest my hip my wrist and the whole inside forarm and top of my neck done might be sensitive skin and scared tattys

I have lots of tats put Palmers belly butter on them. I'm 33weeks and they still look great!

I have 8 tattoos and none of mine have "popped out" or got itchy. You might have dry skin..keep those bad boys lotioned up (:

Maybe it depends on where it is? The tattoo I have on my chest pops out and itches but that's the only tattoo that does it.

I haven't noticed my tattoos rising but definitely itchy belly .. everyone tells me not to scratch because it makes stretch marks more visible.  I guess it's your belly stretching that causes the itchiness. Cocoa butter helps relieve it

Lol yeah the tattoos popping out is normal. I just asked my boyfriend if his tatts ever itch when they pop and he says they do. Just keep them moisturized.

Your tattoos shouldn't always pop out unless your artist has a heavy hand and scar'ed you .. As far as you being pregnant and your tattoos popping out now and itching, alot happens to our bodies during pregnancy I personally have 19 tattoos and haven't noticed that with any of them..  Ask your artist or doctor?
