I used Monistat 1 and it did not work, but I've heard the longer ones are better. I went to my doctor and they prescribed me a cream to insert 3 nights in a row and said if that doesn't work then to call them and they will prescribe difluican. Unfortunately I'm taking antibiotics because I had the yeast infection so long it caused a UTI and my doctor told me the antibiotics can cause another yeast infection so I'm waiting it out a bit.

I didn't either. My sister in law said it wasn't but when my ob said that was what she was giving me I asked her and she said it's perfectly safe. She prescribes it all day everyday.

I just had to stop using that, every time I used it it would burn there down and it got swollen I ended up calling my ob to get meds called in for it. I got diflucan and I already notice a difference.
