morning sickness

I'm around 6 weeks pregnant but haven't seen an OB yet because my health insurance doesn't kick in until the beginning of November.  So far all week I have not been able to leave my bed because of SEVERE debilitating nausea . I can't eat I can barely drink. It's going Downhill with the vomiting. Everything makes me sick I'm miserable . I've tried lemons ginger accupressure wristbands peppermint tea saltiness crackers everything what helps a lot??? I just want a normal life at this point

Zofran works for some people, it worked for me. Was a life saver cause i was throwing up so much in the beginning i started losing weight. One pill works for me all day. I tried phenergan and that disnt help me any. All you really can do is eat small snacks, and i noticed if i stayed laying down it wasnt as bad. Good luck! Hope you feel better

The zofran eases it, not completely. But just enough. And idk about you personally but chicken noodle soup was the easiest thing on my stomach.

My OB prescribed me Zofran for nausea,  some days it took it all away,  other days it just made it better to deal with.  Depends on how nauseous I was,  but it all depends on you and your body and how it will react to the medicine.

The zofran didn't work for me at all just saying. I know if you're throwing up more than three times a day you are supposed to go to a doctor because you could get severely dehydrated. I had to get an iv to rehydrate me. The only thing I can eat really is eggs and chicken soup.

Does the medication just reduce it a little or does it take it away?

Im so sorry honey. Im 31 weeks and I've had severe morning sickness my whole pregnancy. The best advice I can give you is chicken noodle soup until you can get to your doctors. Then depending on what state you live in they may prescribe you zofran. My midwife even told me marijuana first, but thatthat
Only made it worse for me. It's so hard to feel so icky everyday. But I promise at 31 weeks and sick everyday I have zero regrets. Message me if you would ever like to talk. I know how hard it is and it can get.

I'm Very sorry to hear that I no exactly what you're going through because I was the same way nothing natural helped so they had to prescribe me zofran... I'm sorry to say but you're just gonna have to indure it until your able to see an OB because prescription is probably the only thing that's gonna help you since u already tried all the natural remedies and nothings helping. It's gonna suck but just think about it its all worth it for your beautiful baby..I'm so thankful for zofran because without it I'd be freakin miserable my nausea and throwing up were super severe I was literally bed bound I thought I was gonna die & I lost alot of weight because of it. I'm going to be 17 weeks Friday and I'm still very sick if I don't take my zofran.  I can't wait till I don't need it anymore. Good luck and God bless!
