rant!

I feel like I could punch someone. Im 38+1 and ive been having weekly check ups for 3 weeks now and for 3 weeks I have heard no change in my dialation and effacement. Im so frusterated. I feel cramps and contractions, and im going through all the motions of being so pregnant, but I feel like im going to have to be induced and that my body wont go into labor on its own. I feel like im a failure and I cant get these negative thoughts out of my head. Anyone else feel this way? Can anyone help?

It's ok hun.  You have time yet.  Try going on long walks to help push your body a bit.  The end is rough but no matter what happens,  your not a failure and no matter how it happens you will be holding your baby soon.  Sorry your feeling this way though.  Maybe ask for a sweep next week?

That's the thing I've been active to two to jump start everything, everything except taking castor oil. I've never thought of asking for a membrane sweep. So they normally allow you to do that?

with my first I had to be induced an even with all the meds they give me I still never went past one cm over two n half days, I just finally opted for c section. It all can get very frustrating but it will happen in due time one way or another! Best of luck, don't stress!
