due date confussion helpppp

Ok so i just switched back to my original ob dr. This is my second baby so not my first rodeo lol i switched back because the other dr would let whatever i say go n one ear and out the other. Every mth at check ups the weeks far along i am would stay the same. He put my due date as jan 4 2014. Which i have no clue how that is even possible. That would mean i got pregnant after i had my missed period n had two positive pregnancy test. My good new dr said today by my old dr im due dec. 29 but the nurse other health experts n myself n fiance have calculated a due date between nov 24-29th possibly up to dec 4th. My last missed period was march 22 n my period from feb 22 was irregular. I switched my birth control to another type n the first of march. N could feel a sense of being pregnant already the middle of march. Anyone able to give ur advice n calculations for me?

If your last period was march, you would be due in Dec. My last period was the first week of march, and I'm due the first week of Dec. There's No way you are due in nov.

Thank u guys so much. The thing is when we calculate back we get two major diff conception dates. With my first child i didnt understand alot this time im learning all this. We calculated getting pregnant the last week of jan threw the first wk of feb. Then another possible date i got pregnant is the middle of feb threw march 14th?? Where would that put me? If i calculate the 27th of dec that made me pregnant two weeks after my missed period n also i had already had two positive pg test april 3...

According to your last period you should be due 12/27. But, if you have a dating scan (your very first u/s) that due date is more accurate. So, stick with that one. If you didn't have a dating scan, go with the 27th. There is no way they can be a month off without your OB noticing. Your last period doesn't detemine much because every woman ovulates at different times. For me as an example. According to my LMP I should be 24wks. I ovulated super late and I'm about to be 21wks. They'll notice the baby's size by your fundus height or u/s. Besides, a due date is an estimation. If it's off by a few days it's fine. Really no need to worry about the due date unless it's more then a few weeks off. Whichbin your case, it's VERY unlikely that you're due in Nov.

The only person who can be for sure is your doctor/ultrasound tech. Ask for a dating ultrasound bc you are confused about your due date! Good luck.

An ultrasound measuring the baby could determine the due day too. I would tell the doctor your concerned and ask for them to recalculate the due date. I would be persistent about it.
