Can u just lose ur plug in pieces where the "snot" looking substance constantly comes out or does there have to be a blood tint in it??
im 37 wks and after walks or the next morning after sex ect i have the thick greenish snot that comes out in pieces. With my daughter (1st pregnancy) i lost the plug in full and it had some blood but with my 2nd pregnancy i never lost it,  it must came out during labor. Now with my 3rd it's different.

Whats ppls experience with the mucus plug??

Yes, i was losing my mucus plug gradually. Over the period of a month.So its fine. Hopefully labor starts soon or close in near future

what your describing is perfectly normal and thats how mine starts to come out, as it gets further up in your cervix it will get clearer, but it can come out for a few weeks before you go into labour and it is a good sign that your cervix is starting to soften and ripen :)
