No. Some women loose there plug weeks before labour. Everyone is different though xx
I'm 37 weeks 3day & have been getting pains like crazy n just lost more of my mucus plug and got pains after
I'm almost 39 weeks and still haven't lost my mucus plug.
I was 39 weeks with my first child when I lost my mucus plug. A day or two after is when I went into labor. It varies for every woman but you'll definitely know when you're going into labor. Download a contractions app to keep track. Hospital won't keep you unless you're contracting a certain amount or unless your water breaks or if something isn't right with baby when they're monitoring.

A friend of mine lost her plug and it was days or almost a week before she really was in labour because her cervix wasnt opened and her water hasnt break. So you can still relax because it can be quite a while before the real thing happens:) but id say try a little exercise to jumpstart and induce labour naturally
My mucus plug came out even more this morning & ive been getting pains all night and I've been dilated since wensday
Your plug can also regenerate. It is not an indication it just has to happen before labor. I called when I lost mine at 37 weeks and the Doc said it is not anything to put stock in
