I had an infection once that looked identical to my mucus plug, it looked like someone blew their nose (sorry tmi haha) and it was an infection, I only got it once during pregnancy. But infections can cause your mucus plug to dislodge some too. My mucus plug was almost brownish, but I've heard a LOT of women say that theirs was green/yellow

It wasn't discharge I know the difference but I just didn't know if it always has to be tinged with blood or brown in order to be ur plug lol. I will mention it to my Dr next week tho thanks ;)

Sounds like it, or it could be an infection, you can lost pieces of your mucus plug and it can replenish, unless you're losing a lot of it at once with other signs of labor I wouldn't worry, but all changes in discharge you should mention to your doctor.
