No Pregnancy Feeling

Oh My Gosh! Okay I am now 16 weeks pregnant and for the past couple days I don't even feel pregnant. My next appt. isn't until May 26th, I can't wait to make sure that everything is okay. Is this normal at 16 weeks. And when will the doctor be able to tell me the gender of my baby?

If you go back and read my posts from weeks 15 to 18 I felt the SAME way! It's way normal for your first trimester symptoms to die off and then not feel pregnant until that baby starts kicking. I'll give you the same advice I got from dozens of moms. Enjoy it! Enjoy feeling good and not having those first or second trimester symptoms like morning sickness and hip pain.

Oh and I talked the tech into sneaking a peak when I was 17 weeks and they could tell it was a girl. Good luck!

i wouldnt worry, i felt the exact same at around that time, until i started feeling the baby move around 19-20weeks, maybe get a doppler to put your mind at rest, i started using one around 18weeks.

Hi im 20 weeks and dont feel pregnant, its normal to feel good in your second trimester, enjoy it while you can. About the gender at 16 weeks, i had a scan at 16 weeks and a few days and they said its way too early to know for sure, i went back at 18 weeks and they could see a little penis. x

hey,
i'm 38 weeks and sometimes i dont feel pregnant. i have to feel a kick or look down and i go, oh hey, i'm pregnant. i know that makes it sound like i didn't plan this all, but i did and i am very excited to meet our little guy, trust me! just that i dont have many aches and pains to keep me in that constant state of mind. also, i think its good to keep yourself busy so you're not over thinking things. so i dont think there is anything wrong with not feeling pregnant at week 16. you're just getting your bump and you may not be feeling many symptoms. i didn't. but you'll have days where oomph do you feel pregnant. and days where you dont even think about it or notice. just so long as you're still careful and do things gently, like no heavy lifting and the like. it is perfectly normal.
i found out the gender of my baby at my week 20 ultra sound. so i guess it depends when your next ultra sound is. you should be able to ask for that info soon.
good luck and enjoy cause you'll blink and your little one will be here. : )
