Salt is good for infections. I just had a infected ingrown toe nail last week and all I did was soak it in warm salt water a couple times. I also put some salt derictly on it. Went away over night. But with a belly it would be hard to just dip it in water lmao. U can also use anti bacterial soap. Just don't over clean it. That is what I used for mine when I got mine done. Had it for 11 yrs. but since your skin is stretching it may irratate ur belly hole. As mine stretched I had to clean it because of the dead skin in it from taking it out for pregnancy. It was also sore. Good luck :)

Moral of the whole story wash it with what works best for you, keep an eye on it and if it proceeds to get worse ask the dr about it at your next appointment lol, I will not say which soaps are better i will agree with no alcohol or peroxide but otherwise you said the soap you chose is helping so that awesome ;)

Why not just call the place you got the piercing done at? Lol cuz people will have different things and ways just ask the professionals

When I got mine  done they said to use antibacterial soap, but not one with fragrance. And never to put peroxide on it. And to do the soaking in salt.

Just like different tattoo artists have different healing methods so do the people who do piercings. Do your research for yourself and figure out what would be more gentle on your body! I honestly think the sea salt soak would be your best bet. It helps to draw out the infection while healing and soothing.

It has pus in it. You need the antibacterial soap. Its not harsh on it. Youre not supposed to put the soap directly on it. Then it could be harsh. Rinse it very good. I have 6 peircings, 7 tattoos and I should know. You can even google it. Just do not use peroxide or alcohol, it kills the good bacteria.

Soak it in water with sea salt or clean it with antimicrobial soap. Anti bacterial soap is too harsh for piercings. Basically need to clean it like you did when you first got it done to make sure it heals. The sea salt works so good and if you use warm water it soothes it as well

I would just try and keep it cleaned out as much as you can. Soap and water or even saline spray.
