ultrasound

Can u request an ultrasound to your doctor if you are concern about the baby?

You can ask. But if it's not medically indicated, your insurance probably won't cover it. Plan on about $300 out of pocket, maybe more depending on where you live. When is your next scheduled appointment? And what exactly is it that you're concerned about that you want the ultrasound to confirm or deny?

I have kaiser so I'm not sure if they will do one if I ask. Hopefully they do I haven't seen my baby since I was 9 weeks :/

Depends. Insurance only covered one of the prescribed U/S and all the other prescribed ones were $150. I did an optional 5 minute one for $25 for gender at 15 weeks.

Im not 100% sure though so I would suggest asking your doctor first he/she might just do it :)

I believe you can schedule your own but you will have to pay for it

U can request it that doesnt mean they will give u one how far along are u? They will most likely check the heartbeat if u are far enough along
