started heavy bleeding after seeing heartbeat

hi im 6 weeks 6 days pregnant i have been spotting red for 5 days now but since sunday it got a little bit heavier but not that heavy i would need a pad i had a few tiny clots on friday and saturday but nothing since. I went for a scan yesterday and saw the baby is measuring 6 weeks with a heartbeat so i was over the moon but since having the scan which was vaginal i have been bleeding a bit more last night i was sitting and all of a sudden i felt a gush of blood i went and wiped and it was all over the TP i thought i would go to my bed and rest but when i got out of my bed this morning i had another gush of blood no clots. but since then i have been on bedrest and had blood but its red/brown colour i have also had dull cramps on and off i called my doctor but they said because i had scan yesterday and everything looked fine theres no need to be seen until my next appointment but im just wondering has anyone else had this type of blood but still had a healthy pregnancy.
i know i should stay positive but when i had all the blood yesterday i don't see how i will make it to 12 weeks i dont think i will be pregnant for much longer just a gut feeling i have.

Another thing, my friend gushed I mean Gushed it ran down her legs and made a puddle on the floor of blood... a few times this happened. Her baby will be a year in october.

can i ask how bad was her bleeding was it all the time or just the odd time through the day because im spotting but once or twice through he day i get a big gush of blood then i turns to spotting

My cousin bled so much at the begining of her pregnancy it was crazy.... But everything was fine... She is having her baby in a couple days

Okay, well if its only when you wipe that is a good sign, Dont do any heavy lifting or sudden movement lay down with your feet elevated,

yes thats wat i meant keep forgetting we in august now lol
well i been wearing a pad all morning and nothing on it. its just when i wipe i have the blood.
i will see how i go for the next few hours then i probs will phone hospital i dont think there much they can do but it better sitting here worrying

Do you mean 17th Aug? LOL!
If your bleeding doesnt stop by 5pmish, go to hosp and say. You are pregnant and you have one sided lower abdominal pains (Even if you dont) Even though they have done a scan... But they might do another if you say you are in pain. Just make sure you keep your feet up.
Wear a pad as well to monitor your bleeding

i phoned the doctor thsi morning and told them i was bleeding heavier but she told me because i was only there yesterday and the baby was fine and i have no cramps or clotting theres nothing they can do and the internal exam may cause you to bleed so i have to wait till thursday to see my midwife and hope for the best.
i have my next scan on the 17th july i really hope baby is fine and growing properly

I had NO urine in my bladder for my scan. But I was 12 weeks.
Internals can make you bleed, Scans and examinations....
Make sure you drink and drink. Go to the doc and say your bleeding as got worse... And they might send you for one again

i hav my midwife on thursday and my other scan in 2 weeks but im hoping my midwife will send me for a scan next week. the only reason they did an internal is i didnt have enough urine in my bladder so they had to do a vaginal i feel because they were moving the instrument while it was in me i feel maybe that cause some bleeding i really hope the bleeding stops i have 3 kids and his has never happened before.

No pain is good... Your docs should really keep evaluating you. And next time they do a scan ask them NOT to do an Internal one, as that is possibly what caused you to bleed again :)

thank you so much you have been a great help to me and i will let you know how it goes i really hope i stop bleeding thats the only thing worrying me i have no pian, cramp, clots just bleeding so fingers crossed this helps

i will do that tonight i never thought about putting them under my mattress :)
i havent had any big clots i had 4 the size of an ant friday and saturday but nothing big even now i have some heavy bleeding i havent had any clots at all the blood its like bright red/pink one minute i could be sitting watchin tv and i will go to the toilet i will get alot of blood then thats it for the rest of the day it will then get red/brown blood when i wipe but thats it and i havent had any cramps since 5 weeks pregnant. Can i ask if i miscarry should i get big clots and wat colour are they meant to be and size just so i know what to look out for

hope all is well.I've seen other ladies posting here before who also went thru the same experience after vaginal scan.
I hope everything turms out ok. It must be scary seing blood when you r pregnant.I'm 6 weeks too and whenever i feel a discharge i rush to see what it is coz i'm so scared it may be blood.

Put them under your matress so that is elevated as wel and then you will be higher. Dont worry, I know how you feel with the whole paranoia thing, I have suffered with it since I was 14. Its getting worse..
But it should help your bleeding, have you passed any majorly big Clots? Because you can see if it was your baby, cause it will look like a little baby....

i have been since you told yesterday i even went to my bed with pillows under my legs to see if it would help i will keep doing it im just scared something is going to go wrong or am just getting paranoid lol

can i just say the gush of blood has been since sunday but i only get it once or twice a day then turns pink/ brown then will go to clear discharge and so on.
