my job
my job has cut my hrs from 35 to 20 to 15 to 10 n now im at only 5 hrs ever since dey found out i was pregnant. Its so upsetting i dont know how im goin to take care of my baby girl. I applied for cash assistance yesterday n i told them i was in school n workin only 15 hrs so i hope dey accept me. But now my question is will i be able to apply for unemployment also ?
Yea im thinkin of quittin also , they're so disrespectful to me for no reason i dont have to put up with it
I'm actually going through the same thing they cut my hours from 35 to 14 horrible but my aunt she's a lawyer and deals with that and said they have to cut your hours for there safety incase anything happened to you..but if you want to work to take a drs note saying your eligible to work I just quit bkuz I was sick of the bs

I don't think you can apply for unemployment unless you are unemployed... I would try and contact your local dash office and save your questions for them. They will be able to assist b you better than anyone here. Every state has different rules when it comes to applying for benefits.

I believe that they do that because they can't legally fire you. I think that they would cut hours that much in hopes that the employee would end up quitting, or creating labor for workers they believe are more capable... which is still wrong in my opinion.
Yea but i have no proof all they goin to say is because i started school but everyone goes to school ro has another job n dey still get hrs
That's discrimination and you could file a complaint because your job is not allowed to do that
I really dont wanna go back to my job i feel like dey laughin at me like its so annoyin , im one of the best employees dey have n dey treatin me like **** now. I dont know wat to do
