Hi ladies, what do you think of Nissi for a girl? Can one tune it up on spelling wise or is it a name for a boy only? Thanks in advance

It's a good name. Family members always have something to say about the name chosen for a new baby though. My family doesn't like my choice which is Harmony. But it's perfect for my hubby and I we are both musicians, but total opposite so she will be a beautiful blending of us.

Well it's not in the Bible so I can't look it up in the concordance but I looked it up online and it said "Gift from God" and "God is gracious"

Oh no I'm a kid's church pastor lol and am going to Bible college. I know some stuff but have a LOT to learn  and will never learn it all because God is too big :) but I did look it up in the strong's concordance to find the whole mean. Sikumon I think the name is awesome. It's a great name.

Well nissi means banner, Jehovah means the LORD, but it is a very cool name. So your babies name would mean banner.

Thanks for the comments. I got the name from exodus 17, during Mosses' time. Its known for one of Jehovah's names. The Lord Is my banner
