nausea before labor?

this might be a weird question but has anyone ever known of labor just being spontaneous or has anyone ever got really nauseous before their labor started like right before? I am 37 and a half weeks and I have not gotten nauseous at all during my pregnancy and I all the sudden got nauseous tonight with a little cramping at the top of my stomach

Well when you have contractions they wont go away and the pain will start to get worse. If your having lower back pain a lot that could be a sign of labor. When I had my son thats all where I felt the contractions because he was 'sunny side up'. If the pain starts getting the the point where you feel like you can even walk and isnt going away no matter what I would go into labor and delivery.

Last time I ate was around 7 I'd say and it was a salad and I had potatoes chips for a snack shortly after..I normally eat A LOT before bed and I just feel like if I move I'll be sick. I just can't get comfortable at all../:

I take at least 3 baths a day bc that's the only way to make my back pain go away and that makes my legs and feet feel like they have pins and needles in them? I don't understand that but I took nausea medicine j was prescribed a while back in case I ever needed it but that just kind of made me sleepy..how are contractions? Like howblong do they last at first? Just like a sharp pain then go away or pain the lingers for a bit then goes away?

Yeah im a ftm too.. I didnt start feeling my contractions until about a hour after my water broke. And when I mean I couldnt keep anything down I mean it! Like if you ate even a cracker you'd be throwing it up in a little while. It was awful. Try taking a warm bath and relax and see if that helps. If anything call your labor and delivery and see what they have to say.

I can't tell if its just nausea from pain bc I get really nauseous if I'm in pain but I feel like I would know if I was having true contractions? Idk I'm a ftm and don't know what to expect with contractions..

The day I had my son I couldn't keep anything down. When I talked to my midwife she told me it was my body kinda shutting down my stomach so my uterus could get all the power amd work harder. It sucked, but sure enought my son was born that night. So maybe it is a sign for you, if so make sure your keeping your fulids up, even drink Gatorade since it has electrolytes in it. Good luck! :)
