doctors appointment/cervix checked

Im going to the docs monday an my mom said since im having all this change an pressure happening to my body she said he will come after my dic appointment cus she said when a doctor checks ur cervix then ur gonna bleed or u will go into labor.now i saw some post similar to wat she said an dont u guys think when a doctor checks ur cervix they are actually seperating ur cervix from ur walls or mucus plug.(dont know if i said tht right)  but apparently some ppl bleed or go into labor after .....hmmm coincidence!?

Havent experience spotting after sex and i havent been to the doc in a month in a half an i checked my cervix an im either dialated or effaced or both cus i checked it in early pregnancy to see the results later in pregnancy an omg ewwwa feels different lol but i did say some women go into labor or bleed not all folks.so i might bleed bt nt go into labor but i do to much stuff not to go into labor

My dr checked me when I went into preterm labour at 27wks, I'd already lost my plug, I had some spotting for the next 24hrs. I got checked again a week later and it didn't trigger labour and only a little bit of spotting which they said was normal when you touch the cervix, same as spotting after sex.

Yes there's a chance,well it happened with me. For me it did hurt cuss I was still closed, (not even 1 Cm )and The Midwife said cramping can happen afterwards

I dont know anyone who it put into labor. It didnt for me. And i went 4 days over due.

I had an appt every week the last month where they checked my cervix and I went over my due date, it never sent me into labor. She came on her own lol.

Did it hurt when she was checking /opening it...my mom said il just feel pressure...kinda uneasy bout that :/

I knew it so theres a chance of me bleeding right after my doc appointment. I finally want to gt this over with so i can hold an take care of my lil man

My Dr. Checked my cervix on Tuesday morning I spotted right after and later in the afternoon, I just went to the bathroom & saw some spotting and mucous plug so your mom is probably correct lbvs the Dr. Did say she tried opening me up a bit so. I could start getting stronger contractions
