nauseated

Hello ladies
i am 7 wks prgnt nd i have been feeling very nauseated the last couple of wks nd i dont have my ob appt untill Feb so i called my Dr today n told him its been very had to keep Anything dwn w/o me feelin naustious i havnt thrown up bt its thr i gt car sick also so he prescribe me promethazine i jus wanna kno has anyone takn this med if so does it wrk b4 u eat or shuld i tak aftr ? Or if i drink it b4 i eat will it make me sicker ... This is baby #3 my little grl is 5 and i was sick w her for 7 months w morning sickness i just cant remember hw i reacted w this med

Thank you ladies sooo much its jus im goin nuts bc i cnt see smell or eat bc of it ... So ginger does it hav a taste or hw does it wrk

I'm not sure about this medication but have you tried ginger? you can buy ginger tea, or have ginger ale, also there are some good homeopathic remedies than you can buy that work well

I had severe nausea/vomiting when pregnant with my daughter and was also on Promethazine (Phenergan) for 7 months of it. It does help, however it can have undesirable side effects. The two most common are fatigue and restlessness. I would always be stupid and take it AFTER I already felt sick, so I don't know how well a preventative method works. I'm currently still on Phenergan (total I've been on it for almost 2 years) and take it 2x daily with my other medications.
