thank you all i was just starting to get scared but im not so worried any more now that i know there is others that never had it yet and i was talking to a family member to day to and she told me the same thing as you guys thank you
I'm sorry to tell you but you are wrong.. you CAN get pregnant when breastfeeding and YOU can have your period when you are breastfeeding... I am proof that you can get pregnant when you are breastfeeding....I was solely breastfeeding my daughter I never got my period and guess what I am 14 weeks pregnant and my daughter is 10months. And my friend who was also breastfeeding and she got her period every month from the first month.... everyone is different so their bodies are different
Yes you can definately still get pregnant because you may ovulate. I got my period after 5 months, my sister after almost 12 months. Everyone is different, there is no set period for when you do indeed get your period after birth when breastfeeding. My friend was 8 months pregnant and breastfeeding and had NO period when she became pregnant. She was utterly shocked, so anything is possible.
I would suggest using condoms and speak to your dr. You CAN get pregnant and you CAN ovulate without getting your period. For example you could release an egg today if you have sperm to meet it than you could become pregnant without ever getting your period. But please don't believe the myth that you cannot get pregnant while breastfeeding. Many have believed this and have become pregnant. Some women don't get their period for months after giving birth especially if breastfeeding but speak with your OB
if you're breastfeeding you wont have a period for six months, and you will not be able to get pregnant if you breastfeed, id see a doctor if your periods have not come back? are you on birth control?
if you have unprotected sex within the 3 weeks of birth then you will be pregnant, im not sure if people can become pregnant with periods because ovulation isnt happening with no periods
my doc gave mr birth controle and told me not to start i ttell i hade my peirod but i still never had it what els can i do
Yes you can still get pregnant. You can still ovulate at any time and while some say you are less likely to get pregnant while breastfeeding or right after a birth it IS possible and I have three friends who can attest to that. If you want to prevent pregnancy speak to your OB about safe forms of birth control if you are breastfeeding there are less options but still plenty. Congrats on the birth of your child.
