need help
i have a friend that is going through a different pergo she has 2 kids all ready this will be her 3 but since the 18 she has been spotting and when she went for an u/s they couldn't find the baby her and the doc said that she should be 10 weeks and when she went to the doc on Thursday the doc couldn't find a heart beat can some one help so i can get info to her about it. and the spotting is still going as of today
A few years ago I was supposed to be at 10 weeks and started having light spotting when I went to the dr and did an u/s it showed a sack measuring at 6 weeks but no heartbeat or anything in the sack a few hours later I completely miscarried while still at the drs office just tell your friend to hang in there this may be a difficult time for her just be there for her
sounds to me like a blighted ovum (gestational sac but no baby), the body sees it as a pregnancy so it continues to produce hormones for a while, the spotting is possibly the start of her miscarrying.
