You're 27 weeks and they don't know you're pregnant? You should tell them right away. Especially if you'll need time off for appointments or restrictions on what you can do while working. But even if you don't need either they should still know right away that in 12 weeks or maybe less you're not going to be there for a couple months.
I got a new job at 25 weeks and when they found out a few weeks later I ended up losing my job so I would be VERY careful. I wasn't showing or anything either but my boss was pretty mad about it and took me off the schedule. What she did was wrong and it's unfair but pregnant people working have to be pretty careful.
You should have told them when they offered you the job.
They can't legally fire you because of a pregnancy . So just be careful of when and how you tell them
They can, legally fire her, if she's unable to do the job due to pregnancy and she didn't make them aware of that at the time she was hired.
I can do the job. I just won't be doing it long, and they can't fire me if I have documentation from a doctor of things that I can't do, that's discrimination. I was just asking when I should tell them being that Im only gonna be there 12 weeks
I lost my job earlier in my pregnancy, I really loved the job too. (Makeup store, who wouldn't? Lol) but they didn't just outright fire me, cut me down to three hours a week, then decided "They didn't have enough hours" and fired someone else along with me. To cover their butt. But, with most jobs you start out in a probation period, they don't even need a reason to let you go, they can just do it. So even if you go after them, its a fight you'll have to take allllll the way to the end, because at first you'll lose. I honestly wouldn't bother telling them, because its only 12 weeks, and you'll lose your job once you have to go on leave most likely. I'm 14 weeks, and I'm starting a new job next week, and because I won't have been there for a year, they will not hold my job for maternity leave. I hate that its like that, but something we all have to deal with in some way or another. Good luck mama :)
You should tell them immediately because waiting only makes things worse. And you just started your 3rd trimester that means alot more appts, more aches and pains
You probably should have just waited if your 27 weeks. They're probably going to be upset cause that could be a position for someone who isn't pregnant or going to turn around and leave.
