I have a question. I just recently moved andim going to see a new doctor. I havent had an ultrasound since i was 9 weeks i will be 15 weeks 4 days on tuesday which is my appointment. Since its a new doctor and im farther along. Do you think they will do an ultra sound?

Many problems don't show up until around 20wks as well.

Yep, I agree. Dr will probably wait til the 18-20wk morphology scan. That's when they can get the best measurements of babies development, look at the placenta and blood flow, and check your ovaries. They will also use that scan to start tracking babies growth and weight throughout your pregnancy or to predict it if you're not entitled to another scan. Hard to do that any earlier.

I found out with my first child at 14 weeks ive never even heard of it being called morphology scan

Your next scan will be between 18-20 weeks. That's the morphology scan
