Continue lifting w/ caution. I've read not to lift excessive weight. Don't over do it! Check w/ your Dr about weight limits.

When your farther along, more so into the 3rd trimester it becomes more of a concern... i just talked to my Dr about this at my last appointment... at work we have some physio to do on someone that cant actually assist, so we are doing all the work and its resistive and heavy! and she said as of right now i should be fine and im 20 weeks now... i never asked why but im sure it has to do with your center of gravity cause when you lift its best to bring the object close to your body and with a big tummy thats kinda impossible ;) lol  And if you were used to lifting only 25lbs, dont go higher... its really what your used to...

Same here. I try to do things like i'm use to and my co-workers and manager are always getting on to me. I guess it's best to play it safe if you can.

I was lifting heavy things until my boss wouldn't let me anymore.  Pretty much around the 3 month mark, when I told him I was pregnant.  You can still lift some stuff but it's anything over 40lbs that you should be concerned with when you get the lifting restrictions.   really it just depends on what you were doing before and what the dr says is best for you and the baby

You can lift the same and do the same activity level as you did before you got pregnant. Just dont try and do more than you're used too!
