newborn and feeding

Hi ladies, I knw ths isn't a pregnancy question I ws jus wondering my daughter is about 12ds old, I'm struGglin to gt her to drnk water, I nrmlly boil it an let it cool dwn, does anyone hv any advice wt did u do to gt ur lil one to drnk a lil water?

I agree. No water unless pedi has recommended it. If he/she did, I'm curious to know why.

Don't give ur baby water!? Ur breast milk or formula is sufficient supply of what baby needs at this age. Water isn't introduced until close to a year & even then milk is best.

Your baby doesn't need water yet hun. If you are breast feeding she will get her water through your milk. If you give her formula, the water in the formula is sufficient. Babies don't need water until about a year old. Can I ask why ur trying to feed her water anyway?

She shouldn't need water yet hun, just make sure she's having regular milk feeds.

Can I ask why you are getting her to drink water? Constipation? Heat? If its constipation try changing her milk if its the heat even a few drops will help xxxx babys of this age rarely drink lots of water and to be honest don't need much water xxxx hope it helps xxxx
