COULD THIS BE BAD!?

ANY WITH EXPERIENCE PLEASE I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR ADVICE?

I recently found out I am 4 weeks pregnant. I'm now going on 5 weeks.. during the 4th week i had aches like my period which I think is normal..? And now has passed.
But im starting to have aching near my left ovary its not horrible like I want to cry just throbs for a bit.. it comes and goes.

I'm just worried because this is my first pregnancy and my mum had 1 miscarriage and my partners mum had 2... would this make me more prone to miscarriages????

it could just be bloat and if your constipated it can cause you ti ''show'' but i would think even if your having twins  5wks ould be to early to show

So I went to the doctor and got a blood test because I was worried as I am the only 1 who cleans the cat litter and have done so for around 4-5 months and heard about that disease that you can get from picking up kitty poop. So yeah anyway got blood test and urine sample.

But i have another question though... my stomach is pretty big for going on 5 weeks.. is it even possible to show this early! Or could it just be bloated from all the stretching and god knows what else thats going on in there..

Btw ... i have twins throughout my whole mums and dads side and am a twin myself.

One more possibility... I too had pain on my side when I was pregnant with my first. I was in so much pain I went to the ER thinking it was an etopic after all my internet reading I was convinced that was what it was.  It turned out to be an ovarian cyst which are VERY, VERY common during pregnancy.  Glad you are having it checked out!

avaortega407 -  From what you have described it's definately not like that. I haven't felt it since yesterday so i'm a little more confident but just incase ive book an app for early tomorrow. I'm just stressing because i didnt know people didnt usually find out as early as 4 weeks and i have a long way til 3 months were i can relax a bit more because m/c are less likely everyday.

Thanks for all your advice and im praying its a full pregnancy and a very happy and healthy baby :D

i agree it might be a etopic pregnancy you should go to the dr. asap the sooner the better just to be sure. I have had one and they hurt but i waited to go till the pain made me curl up on the floor my tube had busted and i started to bleed real bad almost to death so i cant stress enough you need to get that checked

good luck and keep us informed pleas

It could be your uterus expanding and stretching. I am 28 weeks pregnant and my whole first trimester I had what you are describing. My dr said it was either gas constipation or uterus stretching to make room for baby. I'm sure it was a little bit of each. Having relatives who have had a m/c shouldn't increase your odds. Most women have a miscarriage at least once in their life. If you experience a lot of pain or bleeding/spotting I wouldn't worry too much. When I had a miscarriage I didn't have cramping but I felt like I had been stabbed in the vagina and I was bleeding so bad that if I sat on the toilet just pulling down my pants and sitting down I would drip blood down my legs to the floor.

I've had this too, usually it just aches but sometimes I get a really sharp pain. Usually at really inconvenient times. My doc said it was round ligament pain. I know it seems early but things are already stretching especially with your first and it's even more likely if you're kinda small like me. As long as there's no spotting and it doesn't get so bad that you're having trouble sleeping or breathing then I wouldn't worry too much but do mention it to your doctor the next time you see him/her.

Yeah theres no spotting at all.. just the dull aches on the left side.. I really hope its not an ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage.

Thank you all for your advice i think im gunna book a doctors app.

I would be worried about an ectopic pregnancy too. On a better note, when I was pregnant with my daughter several years ago, I had similar pain on my side near where my ovary was (right I think). The doctors had me come in right away for an US to check for ectopic. It wasn't that, but they thought it was my colon spasming from constipation which happens in pregnancy too. Either way, I'd have it checked out. Mine was pretty bad but would come and go so that could be it. Good luck.
