Has anyone had to take nifedipine fo a few weeks towards the end of their pregnancy? Its my birthday today and I spent it in l&d because I was contracting and they were really close! I was prescribed nifedipine to smooth out contractions. When I stop taking it, is it possible I will go into labor?

Oh okay thanks!  I'm still getting contractions but I'm guessing they will stop as I continue taking the meds. How far along are you?
