night terrors and sleep paralysis

Since becoming pregnant I have been having really bad night terrors and sleep paralysis along with it. I have always had nightmares since I was little but.none like these. Lately they have become so intense that my husband wakes up and has to wake me up because I am screaming in my sleep. Is there anything I can do to stop them? Has it happened to any of yu?

Yes I've tried everything even just laying there And I have pretty bad anxiety which is why I fight because usually it wakes.my husband up so he can then bring me out of it
Evert time I've just laid there I get a really bad attack when I come to, and I just get worried that can be dangerous to the baby

Have you tried scrunching up your face? I read a lot about it and heard that worked for some people. Didn't work for me. Next time it happens don't fight it and see what happens. Nothing will happen to you. Don't be scared, its only happening because you woke up from a deep sleep too soon and your brain didn't have enough time to tell your body what to do. What you're seeing is not there, its your mind making it up.

I see people/ things in my room and that's when the sleep paralysis starts because I fight like hell to wake myself up, but most cases I honestly feel like I'm awake and either I let it keep going until I finally snap out of it or when my husband will grab ahold of me. When I was younger I had really bad nightmares but taught myself to wake up when they were happening but I can't.do that with these:/

So weird, my sleep paralysis stopped since I got pregnant. I'll give you my tip of advice. Once you have it in your mind that sleep paralysis is NOT a bad thing only then will you be able to deal with it. The more you fight it, the scarier it is and the harder it is to get away from. So when you feel it happening, instead of trying so hard to get up just realize that its only sleep paralysis and relax, stop fighting it. When I do that I feel so much better. I don't know if you feel the evil presence when it happens (most people do) I definitely do, and it goes away when I relax. Best of luck to you!

I know dreams become a lot more vivid during pregnancy, but I've never heard of a case this severe.  You might be best to ask your doctor if there are any meds safe for pregnant women to help with this problem.  I wish you the best!
