There are many programs that can help you. There are even programs for getting car seats. Baby doesn't need nearly as much as people think they do. Also, check second hand stores, Goodwill and yard sales for clothes and blankets. Our crib came from my dad's neighbor for $30.

If you are going to breastfeed your insurance will probably cover for a pump. Some WIc offices or health centers help with giving out car seats.

Im in the same boat. I have no source of income whatsoever and no family to run to for help and my husband works with barely enough hours to get both of us by. Its really hard so I feel you.

Check to see if theres a carenet or some type of pregnancy clinic in your area but carenet is the best they give u all kinds of free stuff for your baby you just have to watch a few videos for them. Google if theres somethig like that in your area

There's certainly a lot of stress on you right now because you want to at least have the basics for your baby. One thing you can do is go to your local churches and see if they give out donations such as clothes and other things that the baby will need because many churches do that. Check if a family member or a friend can throw a baby shower for you. You dont really have to buy any gifts for those who play on the baby shower games and you don't really have to buy or prepare any kind of food for the guest. You can just give out water, juice or sodas and a few finger foods. You can check with the local churches to see if they give out food vouchers that way you are able to buy a couple of food items to make those few finger foods.

Sometimes I catch myself feeling that way also cus I'm 22 weeks and haven't brought my baby nothing yet and dont have the to. but there is time and things will work out for i pray everyday for things to get better for me
