not enough weight?

So im 32weeks+1 and finally met my baby dr! Yay! Only took a couple of weeks after moving to ottawa to find him. Super nice and looks older but seems like he really knows what hes doing. But hes the only one to talk about my weight. Ive gained 1lb since prepregnancy and he said that not gaining too much weight is good but not gaining any at all is not good. My uterus mesures 31weeks so thats good, but hes requesting an u/s to see how my boy is doing. If anyone has had the same situation, what did u experience? Should i expect a small baby? Or it doesnt matter since my uterus is pretty close only mesuring one week behind then there still a chance that bubs will mesure fine?

Thanks mommas :) i wasnt worried about it till now. My little man moves so much i didnt think it was a problem. Im fairly small too. When i was younger i had a lot of trouble gaining weight and i was always in and out of the hospital. My mom had child service called on her like five times bevause teachers at school thought i wasnt eating. When in fact i would eat as much as my dad lol i was so happy when i hit 70lbs at 15yrs old lol i remember my mom made me a cake. Drs say my metabolism is just extremely fast. Now im just happy i have some meat on my bones. But i wont worry about it cuz i feel my son move regularly especially up in my ribs. I hope you mommas u/s go well. :)

Im having the same issue, except my baby is measuring 3 weeks behind, im currently 35 weeks.... I have to go for another u/s as well and will let you know my outcome. My dr said it could just be the way baby is positioned or that she might just be a small baby...im not too big to begin with.

Im 30w and still really small, theyre sending me for regular ultrasounds to moniter babys growth, hes small but not too small. I wouldnt worry about it honestly. My midwife seems to worry about the size of my bump more than i do lol. Maybe u dont have a lot of fluid. My son is 5yr old and i had all the same fuss when i was pregnant with him, he came a week early and weighed 5lb 14 and was very healthy, i had very little water so thats why i was small plus im only 5ft muself so no wonder baby was small. Good luck and only mum knows best, if u feel everything is fine then it probably is. As long as u feel ur baby moving regularly then i wouldnt worry x
