breastfeeding ? for moms who are breastfeeding.
Hi as some of yu kno i had my daughter 5days ago and from birth i was breastfeeding she has a favorite side and i try and switch her to the other breast but refuses it my milk came in and the side she refuses to take is very hard sore and hurts when i touch or massage it is there anything i can do to make it not hurt like the other one or can you tell me what this is please anything would help thanks:)
even if you hand express to get some of the pressure off that boob, iif you dont you could get mastitis so getting it soft and the milk flowing, hopefully into her :)

most babies do have a prefered side, as your milk has come in you need to massage it and express some milk so its not as full, I would keep offering her that side fist, express some milk so its not so full and so you have some on your nipple so she can taste it., just keep perservering with her so she gets used to that side :)
