I got my dog spayed today and I feel so bad for her. She has been whining all day and she's like dillusional and she seems stoned from the meds they gave her. It might just be my hormones but I almost started crying when I dropped her off and when I picked her up too. and listening to her cry is making me so sad =(

We were going to let her have one litter but because she came from a litter of 9 we didn't want to possibly have 9 puppies running around! We waited over a year before finally getting her fixed because its so dang expensive! And we have 2 males that need fixed too... dogs can be a handful! anyways I hope my baby girl starts feeling better soon she seems scared because of the meds making her loopy or maybe she's just in pain

I got my dog just groomed yesterday and I teared up when she was whining for me to bring her home with me /:

I got my dog neutered on Friday I cried when I dropped him off lol. Read the information on the aspca website about spay/neuter, it talks about all the positive things about having it done,  it made me feel better. Also my dog was messed up from the anesthesia the first day and night but by the next morning he was pretty much normal again!

Oh, and im pretty sure the meds do make them a little loopy.

Lol, don't feel bad. You're being a responsible pet owner. I need to get my dog done. I had never decided if I wanted to mate her once or not, (I had heard that it could be beneficial for them to have one litter of puppies) and then I moved and couldnt have her for a while. My sisters dog knocked her up. So needless to say, she had her litter of puppies and now I need to go get her fixed bc if that dog manages to get out of the house, she bolts.

I was going to add I almost just feel guilty because I'm having a baby and I just made her unable to have babies of her own... its depressing to think about I feel like my dog is mad at me now
