you could test now....but close to your period the more accuarate it will be :)
I will break it down like this. After you ovulate, it takes 6-10 days for the egg to implant. And then 3 more days for hcg to double enough to show up on a urine hcg test. So as early as 9dpo or as late as 13dpo. The biggest clue of pregnancy is implantion bleeding, if it occurs it will be around 8 days past ovulation. Even tho it only happens to 1\3 of pregnant women. You can go on amazon and buy early hcg test strips for like $3 for 5. That will allow you to test more often! Hope this helps!
You can take one now, but you should wait till you've actually missed your period. Then take a test and see a doctor.
