It still could be the pump. I used to have a lansinoh brand and it took me fooorrreeevvver to pump my normal 6 oz of milk when I got the medela harmony (manual) I pumped 5 oz in like 2 minutes. I got the medela pump in sytle from WIC and it totally made a difference as well.
Try drinking lots of water, eating oatmeal and you can even try lactation cookies to improve milk supply. Also if you are cutting back on calories that could be another thing.
I have an expensive pump and I only get 3oz all together and I pump every 2hrs. It depends on you... some make more then others!
I was looking at the medala one but didn't have enough money at the time and needed the breast pump at that moment. Wal-Mart was selling it for about 130. I can pump maybe 2, 3 oz bottles a day. I try pumping after shes done nursing and while shes asleep.
I have the medela breast pump. And it works great ! Ive been breastfeeding And pumping enough for my daughter like 4 bottles a day. She drinks 4oz , I recommend that !
Babies are also much more efficient than pumps. You may try pumping after nursing to build up your supply. Also check with your insurance. Many now cover pumps and rentals.
Usually if I'm engorged like in the morning it pumps to 2 oz just fine, but I have a tough time getting to 3. I figured it wasn't the pump, but my supply. I think I drink plenty of water since I'm not such a big soda drinker I usually drink water or juice.
I bought the same pump and used it with my first and I thought it did a great job. Have u been drinking less water is the maybe why it supply has lessened
