hi I'm sorry for posting on your post but if any of you could help me that would be great..hello!
ok I was on the depo shot probably for around 3 years. my last shot I got was in December of 2011, so it would have been done by march 2012. I had sex around may 19, 2012. I've been having pregnancy symptoms like dizziness, frequent urination, tired all the time, my body feels weak some days, and sorry tmi but diarrhea 3-4 times a week. i also have been spotting for the past two weeks. I took a home test in June but it was negative. also when I was on the depo shot I stopped getting my period completely and the only thing since is the spotting, so that's why I don't know if I'm pregnant or not..just wondering if even though I got that negative home test in June if I could still be preg? I'm thinking I would be around 9 weeks.. please put your imput on the situation !

Thanks for the input ladies its greatly appreciated. I'm fine with it now and just patiently waiting for my next appointment to get started with antibiotics. Just hope there's no further complications ad everything else remains fine.

Not sure what causes it but i just got tested at my last appointment and wont know till next wed. If it is positive but my doctor said itsdont  absolutely no big deal either way they just want to know so they can treat me during labor if i have it. Also he said anyone is at risk even if your perfectly healthy!

I had it with my first pregnancy, and doctor said it was no big deal, once my water was broke they put me on antibiotics it gave me horrible cottonmouth but other then that it's wasn't an issue. Now I'm pregnant with my second and I told my current doctor bout the strep, he said most likely if you have it with one baby you will have it with all of them, and just put it in my file to give them antibiotics after water breaks when I'm in delivery. Trust your doctor, they really know best, and are there for your healthy and safety as well as that baby. Good luck with pregnancy.

i was tested for it today. i won't know my results until i go back next week, but from what i was told it's no big deal. it's just a bacteria that can grow in our vaginas and intestines. you know how you can get strep throat? well that's a group a strep. it really has nothing to do with pregnancy either, they just don't want baby to come in contact with it at birth.
