If you're 36 weeks why is your appt so far away? I have the same pain. It started up a few days ago. If it persists i'm gonna ask my dr. starting at 33 weeks I'll be going once a week.

i had the same thing, from what it sounds like. i couldnt stand the pain. i talked to my Dr and she actually prescribed Flexeril, which i was weary about but she swore up and down it was okay once youre this far along (i was 37 wks when she rx'd it). she also said that using something like bengay or the tylenol precise muscle cream might help. she said it was from the baby sitting on sciatic nerve. it was REALLY painful! one night of the flexeril helped it completely and didnt even need it again. also, i put a mattress pad on my bed and that helped a ton also...
