Don't read too much into whether your temps are as high as last month's. The key to (FAM) charting is to notice at least three consecutive elevated temperatures above the previous four to determine ovulation. If you are unable to notice this sort of pattern to draw your coverline, ovulation most likely hasn't occurred. If ovulation hasn't occurred but you're feeling pains, you're body may be gearing up to ovulate but waiting until there's a surge of estrogen. Or, worse case scenario, there may be a cyst or other type of ovary blockage keeping ovulation from successfully happening. In either case, there would be an up-and-down pattern to the BBTs.
