ovarian cyst?!?

okay so in june i had a cyst on my ovary that ruptured and i bled internally. my period was fine in june. it was a full flow for 6 or 7 days and heavy like normal. but in july i was 4 days late and it lasted three days..and my period for august was due the 28th but it came sept. 5 and now its gone.  i know im not pregnant or anything but i just wanna know is it common to get another cyst so soon? because i know you always past cysts when your on your period but this last period only being 2 days long is scaring me because i think its not enough time to make sure all the cysts pass through and i dont wanna get another one on my ovary because im deathly scared the pain i went through was horrible. so please any comments are helpful. i just wanna know if its highly possible to get another one since my period was only two days long this last time??

it's possible to get one every time you are supposed to ovulate.  having had one rupture a few weeks ago myself, and spending 2 days in the hospital because of it, i did lots of research and asked my doc lots of questions at my follow up.  I still have 2 on my right ovary that we're keeping an eye on. I have follow up ultrasound in 5 weeks.  other treatment is bc pills, but since we're ttc she's waiting until after ultrasound to see if that's necessary.  good luck and keep me posted.

Honestly I'm not sure, I have never had one.  Have you called your Dr's office?  If not I would do that today and get these questions answered by them.  Good luck.
